Le schede SDHC di Verbatim sono completamente compatibili con tutti gli standard SD applicabili. Presentano inoltre una funzionalità di protezione della scrittura che previene la cancellazione accidentale. Le schede SDHC utilizzano lo stesso formato fisico delle schede SD ma non possono essere utilizzate con dispositivi SD host non conformi alle specifiche SDA versione 2.0.

La classe di velocità è l'unità ufficiale di misurazione della velocità per schede SD, definita dalla SD Association. È uguale a 8 MBit/s e misura le velocità di scrittura minima in "condizioni di frammentazione migliori in cui nessuna unità di memoria risulta occupata".
Classe 10: velocità di trasferimento dati minima garantita di 80 Mbit/s (10 MByte/s).

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
