L'adattatore per disco rigido SATA da 2,5” DIGITUS® aumenta la velocità e le prestazioni del sistema in modo economico tramite l’installazione di un’unità SSD M.2 o mSATA nel PC o notebook. L'adattatore per disco rigido viene utilizzato come un disco rigido standard da 2,5” con connessione SATA III e grazie all’altezza di installazione di soli 7 mm può essere installato su tutti i comuni notebook. Supporta i seguenti tipi di SSD M.2 (NGFF): M.2 Typ 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 con B-Key e B+M-Key. Non supporta SSD M.2 PCIe NVMe con M-Key. Inoltre, supporta SSD mSATA con connessione Mini PCIe a 52 PIN nella variante half size o full size. Per DIP Switch sul circuito viene selezionata l’unità SSD corrispondente. L’adattatore supporta le operazioni di avvio per tutti i sistemi operativi standard quali Windows, Mac OS e Linux. La memoria interna dell'unità SSD è protetta contro polvere e danni dall'alloggiamento in alluminio completamente chiuso. L'interfaccia SATA III offre una velocità di trasferimento dati di 6 Gbit/s, mentre la velocità di lettura può arrivare a 520 MB/s, a seconda dell'unità SSD utilizzata. L'adattatore supporta SATA Rev.3.2 con modalità di risparmio energetico DEVSLP.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
